Notes from 5/17/15 Meeting

• Commander Dave introduced guests Dave Williams who is running for Sr. Vice Commander, Dept, of RI and Neal Tack who is running for Jr, Vice Commander. They gave brief introductory speeches.

• Elections for Post Officers were held. Motion made, and passed for Adjutant to cast a single vote for all uncontested positions. Votes counted by Chaplin Mike K. and member Bill M.Results:

  Jr. Vice Commander: Bob Verrier

• Commander Dave briefed the following:

• Thanks to all who helped with the Pavilion clean up.

• Sponsors still needed for June 13 5k run.

• Flagging detail Saturday May 23 with Scouts.

• Request be Scouts for volunteers to speak at and join them for party on July 2.

• Please tell others about Hall and Pavilion being available for rent.

• Invite other Veterans to join.

• Website updated. Suggestions always welcome.

• Unable to book “Still Burnin” this season, will try again next year.

• Adjutant Tony stated we had 136 paid members, 11 new and 9 deceased.

• Finance Officer Chuck stated:

• Reviewed finances

• $506 profit on Fish and Chips.

• Kitchen Chairman Kim noted Fish & Chips is over for year. He also thanked Carl for all his assistance.
